BETHANY NAVAJEEVAN COLLEGE OF PHYSIOTHRAPY had the honour of hosting distinguished leaders from the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) for an inspiring academic interaction with students and faculty .The highlight of the program was an engaging interactive session led by Dr. Sanjiv K. Jha, President (Executive) of IAP. During the session, he shared valuable insights on the future of the physiotherapy profession, professional identity, and the importance of academic excellence and research in advancing physiotherapy practice. His interaction encouraged students to actively participate in professional development and contribute to the growth of the physiotherapy community.The event was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Ajay Lal S, Convenor of the IAP Trivandrum Branch, who addressed the gathering on the role of professional unity and the importance of involvement in professional organizations like IAP for the development and recognition of physiotherapists in India.Adding further academic perspective, Dr. Sreejith Nampoothiri, an eminent physiotherapy academician and researcher, spoke about evidence-based practice, research advancement, and the global opportunities available for physiotherapists. His talk inspired students to pursue research and maintain high professional standards in clinical practice.
