Institutional Research Committee Code Of Ethics

The Institutional Research code of ethics falls in line with the ICMR, National ethical guideline for Biomedical and health research involving human participation.

SCOPE

The guidelines are applicable to all projects involved in the college, by staff, students or any other persons who are doing the projects under JSSCPT , involving human participants, their biological material and data

The Purpose of the research should be

  1. Directed towards enhancing knowledge about the human condition while maintaining sensitivity to the Indian cultural, social and natural environment.
  2. Subjected to a regime of evaluation at all stages of research , such as design , conduct and reporting of the results thereof
  3. Conducted under conditions such that no person or persons become mere means for the betterment of the others and that human beings who are participating in an y biomedical and /or health research or scientific experimentation are dealt with in a manner conducive to and consistent with their dignity and well-being, under conditions of professional fair treatment and transparency.
