IAP PHYSIO WEEK 2026 – Academic Session on Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy

Bethany Navajeevan College of Physiotherapy (BNCP), in collaboration with the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), Trivandrum Branch, hosted an academic session as part of IAP Physio Week 2026 on 11th September 2026 at the BNCP Auditorium.

The academic session focused on “Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy: From Traditional Techniques to Precision”, providing an enriching platform for students and faculty to explore contemporary approaches in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy.

The session was led by Dr. Binu James (PT), In-charge, Department of Neurosurgery, Medical College, Trivandrum, who served as the resource person. His expertise and insights provided participants with valuable perspectives on evolving practices and precision-based approaches in physiotherapy.

The session commenced at 11:30 AM and witnessed active participation from the students and faculty of the college. The programme aimed to strengthen academic knowledge, encourage clinical reasoning and highlight the role of evidence-informed and contemporary physiotherapy practices.

The academic session formed a valuable part of IAP Physio Week 2026, celebrating the profession of physiotherapy and promoting continuous learning and professional development among future physiotherapists.
